Jade Academy had taken its birth in my college days. After my studies at Shimane University, Matuse, Japan, once I had visited my home town which I had left for more than 10 years. In that visit, I had come to know about the tragic loss of my middle school friend due to poor performance in academics. It had a profound impact on my persona. Ever since I came to know of the fate of my friend, I used to spend my spare time helping kids in my reach with their academics, especially if they are facing problems in mathematics and fundamental sciences.
My interest in sciences and mathematics had driven me to always find time, despite a busy career in the industry, to help students around my reach. It had its natural progression into teaching regularly at home. In the last 20+ years, there is a sea of change in the education sector. With the improved economy in India, middle-class socio-economic dynamics was able to bring the best schools and options for students. However, the quality of education at middle and high schools is not up to its desired level. One among many factors for the current dismal state is the lack of appropriate foundation at concepts. It has an impact on children and their careers. In the typecast monotonous rat race to seek performance at prestigious entrance exams, the entire education sector is undergoing complicated transformation.
Many a time I find children in class 11 without any basic knowledge of basics in mathematics and sciences. Topics like algebraic division, factorization, logarithms, partial fractions, continued fractions, vectors, etc used to give a tough time for the students. After teaching students year after year i had found that most of their difficulties are embedded in their high school mathematics and sciences. Jade academy has been started with a single endeavour to help students in understanding the fundamentals that leave a long-lasting impression on their abilities.
This website acts as a pool of knowledge for the underprevileged students or those with inhibitions and lost or overwhelmed in the content and finesse the topics offer at various levels.
